1990 - Californian Mountain Blizzard `UFO' Experience

Oh, I found a good read right off the Latest MUFON reports today (report rendered on 1/28) about a strange set of perceptions in February 1990 to two men - one of whom was searching for his house bound wife during a blizzard. Well, I don't want to tell too much.........

We were so far up in the mountains and we were lost during a snow storm, looking for a friends house that my wife was at because she became snow in and you couldnt drive down the road that my f,fiend lived so we parked out on the main road and started walking down every road looking for the house, or a house with lights on and we came to a dead end with snow piled high at the end, that when we seen the three triangle lights hovering I got a sense that seen us, cues we were crouched behind the snow bank, and it moved towards us in a way that if you blinked it was 50 ft closer thats when I decided to stand up and walk away and gave my friend my pocket knife and opened it and told him not to look back until we were out sight and around the corner and started to run the brightness of this light was like construction lights like they use to work on the roads at night but we were so far up in the mountains and on a snow cover diirt road on a night that was a blizzard there absolutely was no road construction going at that time of night I got a sense that they seen us I could here them in my mind it felt like,thats what scared me and made run

So, once again we have the possible perception of a time dis-jointment and a mind meld of some sort. Also, the report vaguely sounds like the Travis Walton experience, at least the BRIGHT lights low to the ground in an impossible area goes. For lack of a better word or visual - could `lumps' of `unactualized time' flutter into our reality on occasion? It also has similarities to the `impossible tow-truck' stories of rescue.

Could Orbs Represent A Time Distortion?

As the stories get stranger, threads of similarities stand out in contrast to the differences perceived. The below story, with my emphasis in RED, is of a growing pile of stories that seemingly involve time perception differences - usually a slowing down perception effect. 

Anyway, let's get to the Ken Pfeifer shared story:

FAMILY TERRORIZED BY AN ALIEN CRAFT IN AUSTRALIA

Perhaps one of the strangest Australian UFO encounters is that of the Knowles family as they drove along the lonely Nullarbor Plain in January 1988.

Mother Faye was travelling the long, lonely stretch of highway with her sons, 24-year-old Patrick, Sean aged 21 and 18-year-old Wayne, along with their two dogs. While Sean was driving and his older brother sitting beside him, they saw on the road ahead of them a bright light. Their curiosity piqued, Sean put his foot down in order to catch up to the curious light shining on the road ahead of them. That would soon prove to be a mistake.

The Knowles’ car soon caught up with that curious bright light that now took the shape of an angular egg in an eggcup with a yellow centre, and estimated at about one metre wide. It appeared to be either on the road or floating just above it, and was moving back and forth. Sean swerved to avoid the object, almost colliding with a car towing a caravan travelling in the opposite direction. As they continued driving, the Knowles soon became concerned that the glowing egg-shaped object was following them … and then they heard a clunk and felt the car being pushed down by a heavy weight. Then, the car seemed to be lifted off the road. Frightened, Faye wound down her window and reached for the roof. She felt something “soft and rubbery that was hot”. (wow, an actual description of what an Orb's texture may be) When Faye pulled her arm back inside their vehicle, it was covered in a strange black dust. The family were now terrified and they soon became disoriented and later recounted that their voices sounded slower and lower in pitch. Patrick later said that he felt like his “brains were being sucked out”. Meanwhile, the car’s speedometer registered speeds that the small car would be highly unlikely to achieve. Then the car appeared to drop back onto the road, bursting the rear tire on the right hand side. After pulling off the road, the Knowles jumped out of the car and hid behind some nearby bushes, shaken and scared. Eventually, they returned to the car, changed the tire and drove at speed to the nearest town.

Physical traces on the car, corroborating evidence from a truck driver and the sincerity in the Knowles’ own testimony on national television point to something extremely out of the ordinary happening on the highway across the Nullarbor Plain in January 1988. But was it a UFO encounter or something else? According to Jenny Randles, author of Time Storms, the Knowles’ encounter has more to do with a natural phenomenon in which time itself is distorted rather than that of a UFO encounter. Indeed, there appear to be a number of similarities with other cases the author has investigated. But, whether the Knowles were terrorized by an unidentified flying object or inadvertently drove into a so-called “time storm,” there is little doubt that the family experienced something baffling, and terrifying, on that day in the summer of 1988. The `soft and rubbery and hot' comment will be one for the pondering people who read Amazing UFO Stories And Strange UFO Videos........... I wouldn't be so hasty in writing this off as a UFO - but - I also believe that Orbs could indeed be what is perceptible of a `time distortion' - especially a `time distortion Orb that always seems to have a pliable reality and can morph or change' (The Orbs turning into crafts phenomena --- IF it is simply `playing' with an `unactualized future perception' - why couldn't it MAKE that projection ANYTHING? Including HUGE Black Triangle crafts that seemingly are only part of the usually ONE persons observations - EVEN if in Urban settings.)

BTW, I have an aunt who decades ago had an event in her house where she found about a shovel full of what could be described as `black dust' in an upstairs bedroom.

Orange Orb Emerges From Water Near Shoreline - Moves Into Air - With Pictures, Detailed MUFON Accounting

Amazing UFO stories and Strange UFO Videos is going to have some width to coverage of what is `amazing' and what is `strange'. This account today - from the Latest MUFON Reports - (the latest 20 categorized reports) - has a couple `high strangeness' aspects in my opinion (IMO). One is the uploader's perception of the docileness of the other witnesses to the event even while he was taking pictures. He also seemed to have a time distortion the event was so powerful.

And, of course, the fact that this Orange Orb supposedly came from just offshore in what could be assumed to be shallow water. Orbs hanging out IN water?............ I'll let him describe the best details below and catch the MUFON link for the rest of the story:

I was walking on Siesta Beach just after sunset on 1/19/2013 less than halfway between the Terrace and the first lifeguard stand and I noticed an orange glowing object coming up out of the water at about 30ft. from the shore. It ascended into the air and hovered in one spot at a low altitude then proceeded to move slowly to the right in a straight line or due north. I took a couple of pics and wondered if anyone else was seeing it like I was. There was a guy standing a few feet from me .....

He submitted as best as I can tell by looking - four different pictures he got off - this picture is perhaps a different angle as it was ascending - Siesta Beach UFO Picture Two.

I guess in analysis the easy nay say answer is avoided by the perception of the object EMERGING FROM the water itself as obviously a Chinese lantern would not do such a thing. It is interesting that perhaps the object projected some sort of time distortion of consciousness - which if a quick event - which is what this person seems to be describing - perhaps the other witness (es) also experienced such and simply were incapable in a temporal fashion to even react to the perception. A hypnotism in a local area - a possible Fortean event.
