1979 - Articulate Description Of A `Spaceship From Another Planet' (Latest MUFON Reports)

Here's the kind of articulate report that I'd expect from someone holding back a report for over 3 decades. It occurred supposedly on about September 30th, 1979 in Greenwich, Connecticut and was a craft witness close up by a mother and son (this is the son's report) and evidently, based on the report, MANY others:1979 Greenwich Connecticut `Light Craft'

.....It almost seemed like it was following us. While travelling 3 or 4 miles down North St., we lost sight of the object a couple times, but whenever we picked it back up it was clearly getting larger, brighter and closer. It was about this time that we began to get a little excited because it did not appear to be a helicopter or plane with lights on it; instead, it was looking like a solid mass of very bright light. At the end of North St, we turned left onto Maple Ave and went about 1/4 mile or so to our driveway. My father had been concentrating on driving, hadnt looked up or been interested in seeing what we were seeing, despite our increasing excitement. As soon as we pulled into the driveway, my mother and I hopped out of the car and immediately looked back in the direction of North Street. Thats when the craft -- a large glowing pinkish yellow-gray football shaped disc with a light rotating around it very fast -- came gliding slowly and silently right over the trees across the street from us (about an 80 degree angle), over the Greenwich Womens Club and South in the direction of the Boston Post Road. Having just seen an actual spaceship at close-range, my mother and I jumped in the car and took off in the direction of the craft was going. At the end of our street, we took a left on the Boston Post Road and sped about 1 mile to the top of Puts Hill, where we spotted the craft just above the treeline. My mother pulled into the parking lot of the Shalom Temple, where we got out and looked up in absolute amazement.....We walked out to the sidewalk and watched as the craft slowly glided out from over the Millbrook neighborhood, over the Post Road we were standing on and over the Greenwich High football field. The ship was quite large, about twice the size of a C-17 perhaps. The whole ship was glowing but an even brighter light was rotating around it counterclockwise. As it crossed the Post Road it seemed to wobble just a bit. Again, it was completely silent, which was just astonishing because of its size and how close we were to it. After passing over the football field, the ship shot straight up and out of sight in a split second. AMAZING. It was so fast that it was almost comparable to simply disappearing. .

1949's - Large Black Object - UFO Tennessee (MUFON Report)

An older one than many - but - just as amazing:
My experience with a UFO is set in the year 1949 and Im guessing in the month of late October or early November. My parents, grandparents and I were sitting around the kitchen table drinking coffee about 3:00 in the evening. My grandparents ranch is located about 25 miles northeast of Brackettville, Texas in Kinney county. Off in the distance, we began to hear a loud roaring noise coming from the east. Since it was a little early in the year for ranchers to begin using a flame throwing device known as a "pear burner" to burn off the thorns from prickly pear cactus pads, we became very curious as to what this could be. We quickly got up from the kitchen table and went outside to figure out what was making all the noise. The noise was quickly getting louder, and the source was getting closer and moving very fast. Suddenly, off to the left of a hill about a mile to the east, an object came into view. It was as big as my grandparents ranch house, and it was very black in color. We could see it was trailing smoke, and it was now very loud, so loud you could feel it in your body. When it got to within about 50 yards from where we were standing, it made a sudden right angle left turn and passed in full view of us and was now heading south. As it passed from view and we could no longer hear it, we looked back to where we first saw it, and there was still a smoke trail. Also, there was a very pungent odor in the air. It smelled like burning sulfur or rotten eggs, and it was very strong. From the time we first heard the noise of this object and until it went out of sight, it took about 1 to 2 minutes. No one who lives in this part of Kinney County, Texas, has ever spoken about this incident. As far as I know, no person in the town of Brackettville has ever discussed it either. If anyone who reads this can shed any light on what we saw, please let me know. I would like to know what it was.MUFON LINK

We certainly have read of the rotten eggs smell or burning sulfur in past experiences. The lack of a description of the object, the size of a house and only 50 yards away is strange too. Almost as if it had no definition other than what was being observed.

Close 1991 UFO Experience Convinces Citizen Of UFO Powersource

I was camping out with a friend at Howell springs,near Hachita,N.M.We had a campfire going and were just sitting around and shooting the breeze.I had just looked at my watch a few minutes earlier.I dont know what made me look but,I turned my head and looked up the hill and there was a flying saucer just hovering above the ground about twenty-five ft.I got up off the ice chest I was sitting on.I called it to the attention of my buddy and we walked up the hill and stood next to it.It was about 60 ft across and had a ring that was not attached to anything but it had an upper and lower track that was stationary and the middle ring rotated at the same speed as the oval shaped red and green lights that pulsated around the saucer intermittently.The saucer was kind of metallic looking but you felt like you could see through it,but you couldnt.I was expecting little geen men to start coming out of this sumbitch,but nothing happened.It just sat there hovering about 45 minutes.Then the middle ring and the lights started spinning really fast and I mean fast then it turned like white hot and swish, that fast it looked like the most distant star you could see.It went north.After all the excitement to put it mildly,we walked back down to camp 
we talked about it till there was nothing left to say.we were sitting in the exact same place,this was about three hours later, and the exact same thing happened again Every detail was exactly like the first time.We decided we better not tell anyone because they would think we were crazy or some thing.But now I just gotta. I havent seen my buddy sincce the end of the job we were working on together but if you ask him hell tell you the same thing.

the best way to describe how I felt was just awe stricken.I was not afraid,just awe stricken,and I remember trying to send them telepathy to give me a ride on it and they came back but like I said,S every thing was exactly the second time as it was the first time. 
Sometimes when I wake up,Ill say something off the wall,and I have no idea where it came from,like cosmic shouting center or inter galactic harmonic reciprocator,which is pretty cool but some what strange,dont you think? ...
